Prince George's County Fair Karaoke Contest
The 2008 Prince George's County Fair will be holding a KARAOKE CONTEST where you can win a CASH prize or a SCHOLARSHIP. The Fair, in conjunction with the John Robert Powers Agency, will be awarding a SCHOLARSHIP (valued at $1250) to the John Roberts Powers Agency to the best singer that is age 16 or younger!!! The singing will be held the first three days of the fair, with the finalists competing on Sunday.
The Karaoke Contest is located on the Race Track Infield Stage.
Prince George's County Fair Beautiful Baby Contest!
The Prince George's County Fair, in conjunction the Pennysaver, is holding a Beautiful Baby Contest. It will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, September 4. Come enter your beautiful baby in the contest! The contest is open to Prince George's County Residents only.
The Beautiful Baby Contest is being held on the Show Place Arena Stage.
"Crusin' the Fair" Car Show
Presented by the Prince George's County Fair Association and hosted by the Tri-County Cruisers Rod & Custom Car Club. Open to 1983 and older vehicles, there will be over 40 Trophies awarded and Dash Plaques for all registered cars.
The "Crusin' the Fair" Car Show is located in the parking lot between the FAIR OFFICE and the Race Track.

MNCPPC Fun Factory
The Fun Factory, sponsored by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, is a section of the Prince George's County Fair where children can participate in making crafts and playing old-style games. The games include such things as a pie eating contest, egg toss and hay bale throwing. Added to the fun of the Fun Factory are clowns and street actors making balloon art. The Fun Factory hours include Friday 6PM-8PM, Saturday 11AM-7PM and Sunday 11AM-6PM.
The Fun Factory is located in the Race Track Infield.
The Maryland Child Identification Program (CHIP)
Each year, nearly one million children disappear from our sight. The Freemasons on Maryland have a program that can help with locating missing children. The Child Identification Program (CHIP) collects basic identification data including a photograph, finger prints, and identifying characteristics for each child in your family and provides you with a permanent record on paper and on a CD. The paper record is provided in two forms; one that you can file away and the other that you can carry in a purse or wallet. The CD also contains a video interview with your child which is helpful to law enforcement officials when searching for a lost child. We collect the data and use the computer to produce the document and CD but we do not retain any information once the computer has produced the CD. The printed information and CD are the sole property of the child's parent(s) or guardian(s). They alone make the decision to share it with law enforcement agencies should a child become lost.
The Maryland Child Identification Program (CHIP) is located in the Show Place Arena.
Artistic Dance Academy
Artistic Dance Academy is your local dance studio with over 30 years of experience. The studio offers instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Modern, Poms and Hip Hop. We accept students from ages 2 thru Adult. Our Dance Company performs at various shows and competitions. We are registering for classes now. Balloon Man Dennie Huber
Balloon Man Dennie Huber, from Altoona, Pennsylvania, is a magician and a balloon artist. His act includes entertainment for the entire family. In fact, his act is one of the few where he Sings while performing. He makes, and hands out, plenty of colorful balloon creations and wacky balloon hats. He show is good, clean fun for the entire family.

BOOGIE BODIES utilizes state of the art equipment to superimpose your larger than life head on to a Boogie Body, giving the impression that you are an accomplished dancer for a variety of songs & stage scenarios.
BOOGIE BODIES is simply hilarious! We guarantee a non-stop laughter factor as you watch your friends, family and strangers sing and dance to some of today's most popular songs and yesterday's favorite oldie.
The BOOGIE BODIES are located in the Race Track Infield.
BOOT SCOOTERS
We are an energetic group of friends that love to dance and have fun! We've been performing for over 11 years and have appeared several times on TNN's Club Dance. We perform at most of the local county fairs and various charity functions and fund raisers. We dance to different types of music -- not just country.
The BOOT SCOOTERS are performing on the Show Place Arena Stage.
Exquisite All Star Dance Team
Greetings! This is our first year performing at the Prince George's County Fair. Our group consists of ladies from the local high schools in Prince George's County. Our motto is Where Dance Is More Than Just A Hobby, It's A Passion. A concept that explains the heart of a true dancer. The coaching staff consists of Ms. Krystal Leah Hamlet (Director/Coach), Ms. Breana Johnson (Coach) and Ms. Tiffani Jones (Coach) - all who have many years of dance and coaching experience.
So far, the Exquisite All Star Dance Team has participated in numerous fundraisers and in July we participated in the Redskin Dance Camp where all members were recognized for their achievement and dance ability. We are elated to participating in the Prince George's County Fair and we look forward to future performances.
The Exquisite All Star Dance Team performs numerous types of dance: pom, hip-hop, high kick, jazz/lyrical and prop/novelty. As well, the group participates in three yearly competitions and embarks on many community services projects throughout the region. The goal of the Exquisite All Star Dance Team goes beyond dance,...it seeks to turn our dancers into young adults and future leaders of tomorrow.

Josh Knotts, professional illusionist and magician, has entertained audiences using his years of experience in theatre and the magical arts. He constructs ingenious illusions with highly developed skill. When viewing Knotts' performance, audiences will experience escape acts, large-scale illusions, magic involving animals, and comical audience participation.

TA-DA Robots Farm Animals
