Appaloosa was born in early 1971. The original vision of a full vocal band with steady playing of songs during their performance all the while pleasing the crowd with their party atmosphere is still with Appaloosa today. It's a good chance Appaloosa played your prom, school dance, CYO/Teen Center, social function, favorite night club and maybe even some of the readers' weddings over the years. Appaloosa takes pride in providing a first rate performance and being a strong dance band. This group still kicks!

My name is Heath Bender. My wife, Hillary and I are chainsaw artists located in northeastern Pennsylvania. I created my first piece in 1991 and have made my living from my art since 2003. We have traveled all over the country for many competitions, benefits and shows.
Most of our pieces, which reflect wildlife from the United States, are carved out of eastern white pine. We have however carved pieces in a variety of hardwood and softwood species. The subject matter is not limited to wildlife as we have created just about anything you can imagine!
Their creations may be available at the Fair for you to take home - More info to come. If you would like a special piece carved just for you, check with Heath and Hillary, and they might be able to do it for you.

Our mission at Dance Expressions is to inspire a life-long love of dance in a nurturing environment. Our hope is that our children grow into talented dancers, but more importantly, confident people. Our dancers will receive a well rounded dance education including technique and artistry, not just choreography. Our teachers emphasize proper dance technique including body awareness, correct alignment, quality of movement and terminology. Classes will always include proper warm-ups and progression of movement. This promotes a healthy dancer protecting them from injury. We believe dance will not only teach your child movement and music appreciation, but also stresses responsibility, and discipline. Learning to dance also develops beautiful poise and confidence. All of our classes are professionally designed to be age and level appropriate. From youngest to oldest, we want to be sure each student has a positive experience here at Dance Expressions.

TA-DA Robots are furry, moving, animal characters that interact with the crowds and are a favorite of kids and adults alike. They have been a hit at fairs and events throughout the United States.
TA-DA Robots love to talk and show off their driving skills, and they don’t mind posing for pictures with kids, either.
Fair attendees may see Norbert the Bull driving down the midway on his tractor or out in the dairy barn trying to get a date with one of the cows. Or, families might see Horace the Horse singing a country music song for his new friends. Or, they might even see Harry the Puppet talking to the kids. And you never know where Precious the Pig or Dudley the Duck will be.

TA-DA Robots will be performing at various times in the Race Track Infield.

Rosedale Attractions & Shows Inc. is a direct result of the Gaylin family's involvement in the amusement business since 1928.
The business has passed from generation to generation, beginning with Eastern Amusement Company, founded by Ann Gaylin, playing the streets of Baltimore City with two rides. When the company set up shop in Rosedale, MD the name was changed to Rosedale Amusement Company, operated by Ann and her husband Thomas Gaylin Sr. and expanded to eight rides. In 1966, Ann and Tom's son, Thomas Jr. (affectionately known as Tucker to everyone who knows him) took over. During this time the company grew to about 25 rides. In 1986 the name was again changed to Rosedale Attractions & Shows, with Tucker's son Tom III continuing the tradition and bringing the show to its current status. The fourth and fifth generations will direct operations in the future.
